The first volume, The Dragons of Ordinary Farm was published in June 2009 and a second book, The Secrets of Ordinary Farm was published June 2011. Tad Williams is also currently working on a series of young-adult books co-written with his wife Deborah Beale called Ordinary Farm. In addition, Tad wrote Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis for DC Comics starting with issue #50, a project which began in March 2007 and ended with issue #57. So yes, I have a soft spot although Ive long moved on to more literary SF and especially works from the 40s-70s SF. Otherland was the series that got me into SF from fantasy. I cannot recommend Memory, Sorrow and Thorn. I also liked the Shadowmarch books (again, the last one led me down a bit, or maybe they were just drawn out too much). One reason I hardly ever pay too much attention to reviews: While looking at something on Goodreads, I discovered that Navigators Children has an overall. That said - I really liked the Otherland books (the last one wasnt great). In July 2006, Williams started publishing a new six issue comic mini-series called The Next through DC Comics. The shelf-bending second installment in Williams’ Last King of Osten Ard saga (after The Witchwood Crown, 2017) exemplifies the very bestand worstthat epic fantasy has to offer. Ive never read War of the Flowers, but I have read almost all of Williams other stuff. The third volume, Shadowrise, was published in March 2010, and the fourth volume, "Shadowheart" completed the series in November 2010.
